Trying to eat healthy? You can get screwed by Vitamin A.
The liver stores vitamin A, protecting the bodies tissues from it, waiting to release it safely.
The body stores it in fat tissue as well, people who resort to liposuction typically have orange fat, which is vitamin A.
The body will create fat in order to store more vitamin A. Probably lowering metabolism in order to make enough fat.
So there is basically this Vitamin A barrel in the body and when it overflows it causes all sorts of damage throughout the body wherever it goes.
Autoimmune disease is caused by vitamin A getting in the cells and the body forced to deal with these poisoned cells.
Kids will get autoimmune conditions like eczema and outgrow them, meaning their smaller liver will be overflowing with vitamin A stores, and then their livers will grow to deal with more vitamin A. When people get older older, their livers shrink. and their vitamin A stores overflow and cause all sorts of autoimmune conditions.
Retinol, a form of vitamin A is used as a chemical peel for skin. and this is exactly what it does in the body wherever it goes.
The vitamin A toxic liver produces bile with vitamin A in it. It then gets into the blood and causes inflammation throughout the entire body, list all autoimmune conditions, some of them are alzheimer’s, crohn’s, celiac, psoriasis.
People who have toxic livers can get angry for no reason, lethargic, become depressed, apathetic.
Vitamin A toxicity is not easily seen in blood work. Your liver could be right full and your blood reading will be low. Typically when you stop taking in vitamin A, that’s when your liver starts releasing it, therefore symptoms might get worse before they get better.
Fasting doesn’t really help a Vitamin A filled liver, it needs protein to transport it out. it needs food to stimulate bile production. You may feel good when fasted, but when you start eating again its back to vitamin A toxicity.
It’s insidious, so hard to pinpoint whats causing all your problems. You could be accumulating vitamin A for years before you get any signs of toxicity. I feel very fortunate to have stumbled upon this info now.
Detox Map
General gist of detoxing from vitamin A poison.
- Restrict vitamin A – some sources of vitamin A are not too obvious like Pork contains retinoic acid in its fat.
- High protein intake. Needed to produce Retinol Binding Protein in the liver to transport it out.
- High fiber intake. Needed to soak up toxic bile produced by the liver and get it out so it doesn’t get recycled or go into the blood.
- Activated Charcoal – Used to soak up bile and bile toxins, Activated Charcoal doesn’t get into the blood. Super safe supplement you only have to worry about constipation.
- Niacin – Real B3 as Nicotinic Acid – Used to help liver detox.
- Zinc, Selenium – good for detox, replacing too much copper with zinc. (2 others I’m not mentioning)
My foundational diet now:
- Oatmeal with peanut butter, bananas, raisins.
- Lean beef, chicken & chicken breast,
- Beans, peanuts,
- Electrolytes, magnesium, potassium, salt.
- Zinc, B vitamins, nicotinic acid, and selenium supps.
- Taking charcoal everyday throughout the day. (could interfere with meds, I don’t take any meds)
